The Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has handed opportunities to a number of Ibrox kids – could this one be next?

Hampl started three of Rangers’ five games in Russia, helping the Ibrox side to third in a competition that also featured Feyenoord, Atalanta, Dinamo Zagreb and Beijing Guoan, and was won by its hosts, Spartak.
The Czech midfielder was last on the books of FC Pardubice back in his homeland and his spell at Rangers has yet to be officially recognised by either club.
But he is understood to have signed for the Gers, according to the @rfcyouths Twitter account, and is now being followed on Instagram by Dapo Mebude, Umaro Balde and Kane Ritchie-Hosler.
Encouragingly, Hampl, who only turned 16 earlier this year, had a trial spell at Manchester United in 2018, and scored both goals as a Red Devils youth side drew 2-2 with Liverpool.
But for reasons unknown he was not kept on by Manchester United, and the English giants’ loss now stands to be Rangers’ gain.
