The Rangers manager Steven Gerrard, gave the Ibrox academy product his debut at the end of last season.

The Rangers winger, Dapo Mebude, appears to have sent a message to someone on Instagram.
Mebude trained with Steven Gerrard’s first-team midway through last season, although his debut took until Rangers’ season finale at Kilmarnock to arrive.
The 17-year-old academy kid proved a popular call-up with many Rangers supporters, and has no obvious detractors.
He, nevertheless, posted the following image on Monday evening, accompanied by the words: ‘(L)et them talk’, the ‘Shush’ emoji and ‘Ear’ emoji.
Mebude’s fellow Rangers winger, Serge Atakayi, replied with a ‘Fisted Hand Sign’ emoji and a single blue heart.
The Scotland Under-19 international recently signed a new contract, keeping him at Ibrox until June 2021.

He could, however, have his work cut out at first-team level next season, with Ryan Kent and Sheyi Ojo reportedly set to add to a pool of options already comprising Jordan Jones, Jake Hastie, Jamie Murphy, Daniel Candeias, Eros Grezda and Glenn Middleton.
