The one-time Rangers captain has played just three times since Steven Gerrard arrived at Ibrox.

The young Rangers centre-half, Rhys Breen, has sung the praises of the first-team left-back, Lee Wallace.
Wallace has only played three times for Rangers this season, with Steven Gerrard favouring Borna Barisic, Andy Halliday and Jon Flanagan.
And the 31-year-old – who has spent the last eight seasons at Ibrox, several as captain – looks certain to leave at the end of his contract this summer.
But despite his lack of on-field involvement, Wallace has still had a positive impact off it, according to Breen.
Asked via the Rangers Youth Development Co Twitter page which senior players he looks up to, the 20-year-old replied:
Breen, who is still awaiting his professional debut, was hampered by injury earlier in the season but recovered to help Rangers Reserves win the league.
The Belshill native will hope to follow teammates Glenn Middleton, Stephen Kelly, Serge Atakayi and Jordan Houston in catching the Gers manager, Steven Gerrard’s eye next season.
