Amissah had six months left on his Leeds United contract.

The young striker, Samuel Amissah, has confirmed his Leeds United exit on Instagram.
A post by Amissah’s former Leeds Under-23s colleague, Alfie McCalmont, on Thursday hinted that the Ghanaian was on his way out of Elland Road.
And speculation followed that he was set to continue his career in Latvian football.
It later emerged that Amissah was already listed on Transfermarkt as an FK Liepaja player, as of January 7 this year.
However, his departure had yet to be confirmed by Leeds, while there was no mention of Amissah on Liepaja’s official website or social media pages.
And although nothing has changed in that regard, the 18-year-old shared the following message on Friday:
Amissah signed a two-year professional contract at Leeds 18 months ago, and was due to become a free agent in June.
FK Liepaja are currently fourth in the Latvian top-flight, managed by the Scot, Gordon Young.
