Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after Tottenham’s Oliver Skipp aimed some kind words in the direction of Jordan Henderson.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, Skipp said: “Sometimes Liverpool release a clip of where you can hear the players and you just listen to Henderson driving that team on and I just found that fascinating, just watching him.”
It’s fantastic to see that, not only is Henderson setting an example to his teammates out on the pitch, but he’s also inspiring players from other clubs.
If Skipp can successfully model his game on Liverpool’s No.14, then Tottenham will have an excellent midfield maestro on their hands.
That isn’t to say the 20-year-old isn’t already a fine, fine footballer.
Skipp is currently on loan at Norwich, where he’s started all 38 of the club’s Championship games as Daniel Farke’s side sit top by eight points.

Having fans absent from games is crushing, although one silver lining is that we do get to hear what the likes of Henderson say during games.
As Skipp states, Liverpool post footage of the 30-year-old’s vocalness sometimes, and he simply doesn’t stop motivating his team.

Whether it’s Trent Alexander-Arnold shepherding the ball out of play, or Thiago pressing in the middle, you can bet Henderson has something to offer verbally.
Let’s see how the Liverpool fans on Twitter reacted to Skipp’s comments…
