Ruben Neves and Pedro Neto laughed at the Wolves winger’s FIFA 23 card, with the Arsenal summer transfer target handed a 78-rated card.
Less than 24 hours remain before the release of the latest edition of FIFA, with Neves claiming that Neto ‘won’t be happy’ with some of the ratings his teammate has been handed, as he told Wolves’ official YouTube account.
From his 85 pace to his 74 shooting, Neto felt that he was deserving of a higher rating, although, his long-term knee injury last season didn’t help matters.

The 22-year-old missed most of last season through injury and he is still trying to warm-up his engine this term, as Bruno Lage’s side have changed from a back three to a back four in order to improve their final third work.
Neto is yet to find the back of the net or secure an assist to his name this season, but that hasn’t stopped Portugal from calling up their rising star to their latest squad ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Nonetheless, this was Neves and Neto’s reaction to the versatile forward’s FIFA 23 card, as they laughed at his rating.
“He’s your new card for FIFA, I think you’ll not be happy,” said Neves. “What do you think your pace is?
When Neto responded ’88’, Neves then showed him that it was 85, which resulted in the duo just laughing.
Neto then hilariously added: “This is why I don’t speak English.”

ARSENAL’S TRANSFER LINKS TO NETO
Whilst FIFA have one viewpoint on Neto, those in Arsenal colours have another after a summer of strong links to the player.
For the second summer transfer window running, Mikel Arteta was backed by those in the Emirates boardroom, with a number of big players joining the club, including Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
One area fans think the team should have added to, especially after Nicolas Pepe’s departure, was on the wings, with Neto a player Edu and Arteta were keen to sign.
Whatever happens this season, it’s an area they have to bulk up in the long-run, and if Arteta can guide the team to Champions League football, then it will allow them to seriously push for the big-name players.
