John Terry has warned Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea duo, Harry Kane and Mason Mount, that ‘you will be replaced’ if they don’t perform for England at the Qatar World Cup ahead of the knockout stages.
Gareth Southgate’s side have booked their ticket to the round of 16 and they will play Senegal, with Kane starting all three group games, but yet to find the back of the net.
For England’s last group game against Wales, Mount was dropped to the bench, with Marcus Rashford and Phil Foden – who were handed first starts – impressing and both scoring.

It now means that Southgate has a big call to make in Doha because does he bring back Mount? Bukayo Saka and Sterling, who both scored in the first game? Or does he stick with Rashford and Foden?
Either way, former England captain John Terry thinks the latest result and performance has caused the manager ‘problems’ and he might have to upset a few people, as he told beiN SPORTS (30/11/22 at 9:15 pm).
“It now causes the manager problems,” said Terry. “It will now be interesting to see his next team and the line-up when we play Senegal because the players have given the manager a problem.
“When you have such a good group of players, it’s important to know that Harry Kane, if you’re not playing well, then there other players that can come in. Rashford can come and replace you. If Mason Mount isn’t playing well, then you will be replaced.
“When you have that competitiveness within the group, it’s also great as well because these players now feel part of it.”

KANE LOOKING FOR THE RECORD…
The Tottenham man is on 51 goals for his country and is two behind matching Wayne Rooney’s all-time record of 53 – and it would be something if he does it on football’s biggest stage.
In truth, if he does, not only match it, but break it, then it means England are probably going deep into the competition.
And after reaching the semi-finals in Russia, and then the finals of Euro 2020, this crop of England players are desperate to finally cross that line.
