Tomas Soucek has claimed that Michail Antonio is the strongest player at West Ham, as he told Sky Sports.
The hard-hitting midfielder stated that when his West Ham teammate goes to body check someone off or on the ball, they ‘just fall on the grass’.
If the West Ham faithful were asked who they think is the strongest at the club, then Antonio’s name would probably be one regularly mentioned
But Soucek should also be given a shout because he doesn’t allow many players to go past him or get the better of him either.
But this is what the Czech Republic international had to say about Antonio and the other strongest players at the London Stadium.
“For sure, Mikey (Antonio),” said Soucek. “You see his body. His legs. His upper body. Strong muscle. He’s strong. He’s incredible.
“When we sometimes with opponents when we punch him with the body, they just fall on the grass.
“But we have very strong defenders like Angelo (Ogbonna) and Kurt (Zouma). Many of them.”

Whilst many talk about Antonio’s brute strength, the £7 million player (Sky Sports) has so much more to his game.
David Moyes has transformed this inconsistent tricky winger into an intelligent forward that’s one of the top strikers in the Premier League right now.
Antonio is West Ham’s all-time leading Premier League goalscorer and that comes from his sheer brilliance with the ball and quick-thinking movement inside the box.
That’s a reason why he will be pushing the likes of Mo Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo for the Golden Boot this season.
