West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Xande Silva posted a cryptic 10-word tweet yesterday evening.
The Hammers academy graduate, who is currently out on loan at Aris Saloniki, posted the following on his official Twitter account.
Having done a bit of research, we can’t seem to find out what exactly has happened to the 23-year-old at the time of writing.
The most recent bit of news about the Portuguese forward came from West Ham’s official site, when they wrote about his late winner against AEK Athens recently.
It was one of two goals he’s scored in 19 appearances this season.
There seems to be no sign of an incident happening to Silva, so something may have happened behind the scenes that we don’t know about – yet.
Despite the lack of context to the tweet, a number of West Ham fans have still sent the Porto-born striker some messages of encouragement.
The fact that they have done so, without actually knowing what’s happened, just goes to show the strength of the support Silva has behind him.
For his sake, we just hope he hasn’t experienced anything too bad.
