Alan Hutton has reacted on Instagram to Rangers announcing a new contract for Steven Davis by asking Allan McGregor whether he will be the next Ibrox player to put pen to paper on a new deal.
Rangers have announced today that Davis has signed a one-year contract extension.
Davis is in his second spell at Rangers, having made a permanent move to the Ibrox club in the summer of 2019 after a loan spell from Southampton.
The 36-year-old Northern Ireland international had a loan spell at Rangers from Fulham in 2008 and subsequently made the deal permanent before leaving for the Saints in 2012.
Former Rangers right-back Hutton has responded to the Gers’ announcement on Davis today by asking goalkeeper McGregor if he will be the next player to sign a new deal.

McGregor started his professional club football career at Rangers and returned to the Gers in 2018.
The Scotsman has been superb for Rangers over the years and has been brilliant for Steven Gerrard’s side this campaign.
The 39-year-old is out of contract at the Gers at the end of the season, and given that he is the first-choice goalkeeper, it is very likely that he will be handed a new deal.
