Speaking to Sky Sports, David Moyes has been discussing the West Ham players he thinks will go on to become managers.
This West Ham side is full of great footballers and great characters, and a number of players are likely to continue to have a career in football once their playing days are done.
Moyes thinks that a number of his players have what it takes to become managers, but he’s highlighted two in particular, Michail Antonio and Vladimir Coufal.

Moyes thinks Antonio could become a manager
The West Ham boss discussed Coufal and Antonio.
“If I get this wrong you’ll go back to this years later,” Moyes said.
“Strangely enough I think Vladimir Coufal might be one. I see someone who loves the game, works at it and is desperate to be better at it himself. He would like to stay in football. I could see Vladimir Coufal doing it and maybe Tomas Soucek.
“Michail Antonio as well. I think he might have other things in mind, and he may take your seat possible, but he’s someone who is well-versed in the lower leagues, the Premier League and with Jamaica, so you never know.”
Got the knowledge
Michail Antonio does have visions of going into punditry, but he would make a great manager it has to be said.
Listening to him on the Footballer’s Football Podcast makes you realise just how much he knows the game, while his non-league, Premeir League and international experience will give him an insight that not many other players have.
Antonio would make a great gaffer, and given his obvious links to West Ham, perhaps he could end up in the London Stadium dugout one day.
