West Ham United beat Newcastle United 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

West Ham United bounced back from a 4-0 defeat to Manchester City by beating Newcastle United 3-0 on Saturday afternoon, ending their three-game winning run.
The Hammers took an early first half lead as Javier Hernandez opened the scoring, with the Mexican seizing his opportunity alongside Marko Arnautovic in attack.
Hernandez got his second after the break, before Felipe Anderson added a third in the dying stages of the game, handing West Ham a thumping 3-0 win.
It was a fine day all round for West Ham, with boss Manuel Pellegrini picking up a much-needed win after that defeat to City, with many of his key players turning in fine performances on Tyneside.
Declan Rice led the celebrations on Twitter, telling West Ham fans that they ‘never disappoint’ having backed the team throughout on a long journey to the North East, whilst he also hailed goalscorers Hernandez and Anderson.
Pablo Zabaleta also praised the club’s fans for ‘amazing’ support, with centre back Issa Diop particularly delighted to have kept a clean sheet just a week after leaking four goals.
Lukasz Fabianski, Pedro Obiang and Robert Snodgrass also celebrated the win, with West Ham giving themselves a morale-boosting victory ahead of the midweek clash with Cardiff City.
