Tottenham striker Harry Kane reached yet another milestone on the weekend when he netted his 150th Premier League goal in just 218 games.

But it’s not as good as a certain Alan Shearer and when Ian Wright was told on BBC’s Match of the Day 2 that his co-pundit reached 150 goals in six few games than the Spurs man, he hilariously reacted by saying ‘you make me sick’.

Shearer labelled Kane’s feat as ‘magnificent’, as he reached that tally during Tottenham’s 1-0 win at West Brom on Sunday evening.

“That’s 150 goals for him now in 218 games,” said Shearer. “That’s a magnificent record and unbelievable.”

Shearer is then asked by Wright: “What did you do it in?” To which the Blackburn title-winner replied: “Why do you have to bring me into it for?”

Wright then asked presenter Mark Chapman: “Do you know what he did it in? He [Shearer] knows he beat it, didn’t he,” said Wright

Presenter Mark Chapman: “I know what he did it in. He did it 150 Premier League goals in 212 games.”

Wright then responded: “You make me sick. Let’s go onto the defenders. You knew you had that.”

“I just found out,” joked Shearer.

It’s pretty obvious what number Kane is going to aim for in the long, and in truth, he will reach it with ease if he remains injury-free or doesn’t join another club in Europe.

If Kane can win trophies at Spurs and remain in England then he won’t just smash Shearer’s record but he will well and truly destroy it.

But then again, it needs to be remembered that football wasn’t invented in 1992 and there are bigger records out there.

The key aim for Kane right now is to stay fit and keep Spurs near the top of the table where they are mounting a title challenge.
