Frank Lampard says that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane should not be regarded as a cause for concern after yesterday’s game.
Speaking on BBC Sport, Lampard insisted that although Kane wasn’t at his best for England against Croatia, he could still be relied upon.
And Lampard says that the time was to focus on positives, rather than criticise the Tottenham striker.
“I wouldn’t worry about Harry Kane, he’s our man,” Lampard said.
“You know what, saved one today – the team played well and there will be a really positive feeling about the group. Harry Kane will deliver when the time comes.”
Kane failed to score his biggest chance of the match, after Mason Mount set him up.
The Tottenham forward didn’t show his usual ruthless streak in front of goal, as he blazed over from close range.

England were reliant on Raheem Sterling to score the goal which got them off to a winning start at the tournament.
Kane was actually taken off in the final few moments, as Gareth Southgate looked to use Marcus Rashford’s pace to cause Croatia problems on the counter attack.
Despite Kane’s failure to hit the back of the net, the Spurs finisher’s place will be under no pressure, and he will surely start on Friday evening against Scotland.
