Speaking on the Premier League’s YouTube channel, Steven Bergwijn has claimed that Tottenham goalkeeper Joe Hart is actually rather quick.
The 34-year-old goalkeeper isn’t renowned for his pace, spending most of his time in his own box, but Bergwijn reckons that he’s actually pretty rapid.
What’ve they said?

Bergwijn believes that Hart is actually rather quick, claiming that the goalkeeper’s reflexes are fantastic.
“Yeah, Joe is very fast in the goal you know, his reflexes are very good, so maybe 70?” Bergwijn said.
“I can tell Steven is trying to save me there, so I’m going to say 60,” Hart said
Hart then found out that is speed
“It’s a good job it’s a made-up game and I don’t take it that seriously,” Hart said.
Hart the speedster

Thinking back, we rarely see Joe Hart go into a full sprint, but there is one occasion that springs to mind.
Back in his days at Manchester City, Hart once went up for a corner against Manchester United, which was subsequently cleared and Hart had to race back.
Wayne Rooney tried an audacious shot from the halfway line, but Hart’s speed allowed him to get back into his goal in time to save City’s skin.
Goalkeepers are often amongst the slowest players in any team, but Bergwijn may be right about Hart being a bit of a speedster.
At the age of 34, Hart is something of a veteran, and you wouldn’t expect Hart to have a lot of pace, but Bergwijn still seems to think he’s quick.
