Luke Shaw told ITV during their live coverage of England’s win over Albania that if you put the ball into the penalty box ‘you know’ that Tottenham’s thriving star is going to be at the end of it doing his business.
Well, Kane was doing just that on Sunday as the Tottenham striker helped his country to a win during their World Cup qualifier in Tirana.
It was the Manchester United defender, who returned to the England fold, that whipped in a brilliant cross and Kane was there to head home.
Shaw will be hoping that he can provide such a link-up with Kane when England go to the Euros in the summer, as he shared his thoughts on the two linking up today.
“I think when you are playing with Harry Kane then he’s going to be in the box,” said Shaw.
“If you hit the area then you know he’s going to be there and he was. And a great header by him. A crucial time for us to get the opener and slow things down.”

Tottenham fans may not like to hear it but another 90 minutes await Kane next against Poland in a few days time.
Kane did earn some much-needed rest against San Marino on Thursday, but that engine has to get going again.
And, whilst this hasn’t happened on many occasions in recent times, Kane might just take to the field next Wednesday where the opposing striker – Robert Lewandowski – can more than argue that he is better than his counterpart.
