Speaking to PLZ Soccer, Andy Robertson has been speaking about Jordan Henderson ahead of Scotland’s meeting with England at the Euros.
Robertson will be captaining his country at the tournament and the game everyone is talking about is their match against the Auld Enemy.
Inevitably, Robertson was asked which England player he was most worried about, and he said Henderson is the player he’s not looking forward to playing against.
What’s he said then?
Robertson has said that he’s really not excited about the prospect of facing off against his captain, claiming that he’s worried about his anger on the pitch.
“It’s Henderson for me unfortunately. My captain, you know, he can get quite angry on the pitch when I’m on his team, so hopefully he doesn’t get angry at me when I’m on the opposite team. But no, look, they’re full of quality. Obviously I know Hendo and I know Trent, hopefully he’ll be in the squad, and I know those two close and personally, so I know how good they are,” Robertson said.

Mind games won
It seems as though Henderson may have already won the mind game against Henderson ahead of the Euros clash.
We all know that it takes a lot to rattle Robertson’s cage, but the Scot knows what Henderson can be like better than anyone, and it seems as though he’s a quite intimidating player.
We certainly wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of the Liverpool captain, and while Robertson hopes that he can avoid the midfielder’s fury, tempers are bound to flare in such a big game.
