Ray Parlour has been singing the praises of Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa.
Leeds have so far enjoyed an excellent return to the Premier League, after a 16-year absence.
Bielsa, who led United back to the promised land last season by winning the Championship, has taken his side to 12th in the table after 10 games.
During those 10 games, the Whites have emerged as one of the most exciting teams in the division, scoring three goals away to Liverpool and winning 1-0 on their return to Merseyside last week when they beat Everton.
They’re eight points clear of the bottom three and with the former Athletic Bilbao, Argentina and Marseille boss, they could and probably will finish well clear of the relegation zone, which would’ve been the priority before a ball was kicked.
He is the closest thing Leeds have had to a God-like figure over the past two decades and Parlour has admitted that he’s blown away by him.
He told talkSPORT: “You’ve got to hold your hands up and just say what a manager. He’s done a great job. The way they play, the energy [they show]. They’re always on the front foot.”
As good as Leeds are, they’re also very unpredictable and it’s difficult to know how they’ll fare away at Chelsea tomorrow night.
The form book says that Frank Lampard’s side will win, but there isn’t a single Leeds fans who will rule out a victory and perhaps that shows how far they’ve come under the Argentine.
