Ghodoussi was part of the takeover at St James’s Park in October.
There is a glorious new era awaiting Newcastle but the businessman is clearly aware of the Magpies as an institution prior to his arrival.
On Thursday morning, he posted a photo of Bobby Robson’s statue outside the stadium and captioned it ‘the boss’.

The new regime at Newcastle basically kicks off on Saturday.
Yes the new owners have been in place for well over a month, even when Steve Bruce was still in charge.
But their project is beginning to take shape and Eddie Howe’s appointment last week was another big step in the right direction.
Saturday’s visit of Brentford will be Howe’s first game as Newcastle manager – and they have to win.
United haven’t beaten anyone in the Premier League this season, losing or drawing their first 11 games.
But with the Magpies 19th in the table and five points adrift of safety, the resurgence under Howe has to start immediately.
