Albeit away from Liverpool colours, Neco Williams has been going from strength to strength since January.
During the winter transfer window, the 21-year-old made a loan move to Marco Silva’s free-scoring Fulham, who earned promotion to the Premier League, by walking away with the Championship title.
And, most recently, he helped Wales qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, as well as putting on a strong showing against Belgium in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday.

Williams was praised for his latest display by the Welsh media, as he was handed a 7/10 rating for his performance out on the left flank.
The all-action right-back was dubbed ‘lively’ and someone who ‘you felt tired just watching’, as reported by Wales Online.
This is what the Welsh media had to say about Williams, as he impresses again on the international stage:
“A lively outlet down the left-hand side, you felt tired just watching him. Formed a great partnership with James on that flank. Not afraid to shoot from range – always a plus point. Ran his socks off all night.”

It’s going to be pretty tough for Williams to earn regular minutes at Anfield, especially with a certain Trent Alexander-Arnold working his magic on Liverpool’s flanks.
Of course, Jurgen Klopp could still use the Wrexham-born star as a squad player.
But it seems as though he is attracting interest this summer and he may well head for the exit door.
Newly-promoted, Nottingham Forest, have expressed in signing the £15 million man, and Fulham should surely be lurking in the corner also, given his success with them.
