Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has praised Leeds United star Stuart Dallas on Sky Sports Premier League (1:29pm, April 25, 2021).
The former Leeds star, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports as well as manages Burton Albion, believes that Dallas has been “absolutely magnificent” for the Whites.
The Dutchman has added that the Northern Ireland international does consistently well and does not get noticed much when he plays, but Leeds miss him when he does not.
Hasselbaink said about Dallas on Sky Sports Premier League (1:29pm, April 25, 2021): “He has been absolutely magnificent. He is one of those when he doesn’t play, you miss him, but when he plays, you don’t really see him, but he is so important. He always plays a 6 or a 7.”
Important player for Leeds United
Dallas is a winger by trade, but under Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa, the 30-year-old has operated as a left-back, wing-back and midfielder.
The former Brentford star has always done his best and has given his all in whichever position he has played.
The 30-year-old plays with a smile on his face, and he is one of the many Leeds players who has adapted well to the Premier League despite having played in the lower leagues in England for years.
Dallas has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 33 Premier League matches for Leeds this season, according to WhoScored.
