Roy Keane has raved about Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane’s first goal against Crystal Palace at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sky Sports.
Kane scored twice and provided two assists for Spurs, as Jose Mourinho’s side won the London derby against Palace 4-1.
The first goal that the England international striker scored in the Premier League game was superb and world class.
Gareth Bale found Matt Doherty on the right, and the latter’s pass was clipped from 20 yards into the top corner by the 27-year-old.
Former Manchester United midfielder Keane was impressed by Kane’s goal, and he has shared what people who work with him on a regular basis have been telling him about his attributes.
Keane said about Kane on Sky Sports: “There are not many players in world football who can do what he has just done there, Kane. It’s driven back to him. I am thinking he might have to take a touch, but the technique, again the power in that shot, the accuracy, again only a few players in world football could do what he has just done there.
“I don’t think we realise, obviously we are watching it on the TV screen, but you know, when you speak to people who work in football, who work closely with him, they say you don’t realise how strong and powerful the lad is, when you work up closely with him.”
Big player for Tottenham Hotspur
Kane is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League who has been banging in the goals for fun for several years now.
The 27-year-old is a world-class striker who has started to give more assists and play in a number 10 position as well this season.
According to WhoScored, Kane has scored 16 goals and provided 13 assists in the Premier League and has scored one goal and given two assists in the Europa League for Spurs this campaign.
