Morgan Sanson has told Tim Iroegbunam on Instagram ‘you deserve it’ after he secured a loan move from Aston Villa to Queens Park Rangers on transfer deadline day.
Whilst there has been a lot of talk about a certain Brazilian midfielder leaving Aston Villa for Arsenal, it was the club’s young academy product who headed for the exit door instead.
Michael Beale is the man in the QPR dugout, after he left Villa’s backroom staff in the summer, and he’s clearly taken a liking to Iroegbunam after working with him for a brief period last season.

Iroegbunam made his Premier League debut last season, including being handed his first start during Villa’s 2-0 win over Norwich City.
A defensive-minded midfielder by trade, Iroegbunam likes to operate as a number six, but can push further up the field if need be and he will now hope to take his game to the next level in England’s rough and tumble second-tier.
Nonetheless, this was the message Sanson posted to Iroegbunam in the comments section of the player’s IG post: “All the best bro,” said Sanson. “You deserve it. Do your thing.”
IS SANSON STAYING AT VILLA?
Less than one hour remains before the 11 pm cut-off point and Sanson is still a Villa player, despite being frozen out by Steven Gerrard.
Fans want the French midfielder to be handed a chance, but instead, whilst Villa’s midfield struggles, he watches on from the sidelines.
There’s no doubt that he deserves to be treated better and it looks like he will stay on board this summer and until January, at least.
It could be argued that Gerrard might be out of the door in a few weeks, so Sanson might be handed his chance then.
