Philadelphia Union head coach Jim Curtin has suggested that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could make a move for Leeds United playmaker Brenden Aaronson, as quoted by journalist Tom Bogert.
Curtin believes that Liverpool boss Klopp was hugely impressed by Aaronson’s performance for Leeds against his side this season.
Leeds got the better of Liverpool 2-1 away from home at Anfield in the Premier League in October 2022.
USA international Aaronson started the match in a central attacking midfield role behind striker Rodrigo.
Curtin worked with the 22-year-old at Philadelphia Union.
Leeds signed Aaronson, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer of 2022 for £24.7 million (Sky Sports).
The American youngster has scored one goal and given two assists in 14 Premier League appearances for Leeds so far this season.

Liverpool tipped to raid Leeds United for Brenden Aaronson
Could a transfer happen?
In our view, it is unlikely that Liverpool would be able to sign Brenden Aaronson from Premier League rivals Leeds United in the January transfer window, even if they wanted to.
Just because Aaronson played well against Liverpool does not mean that Klopp will ask his bosses to sign him.
Yes, the German coach may have been impressed by the American who has done really well this season, but clubs do not tend to sign players after a few good games.
Moreover, Leeds are not going to sell any of their best players in the middle of the season, especially someone they signed just a few months ago.
