Ian Wright has told the Wrighty’s House podcast that West Ham United attacker Michail Antonio looked annoyed at David Moyes’s tactics after the Manchester United game.
West Ham set up very defensively on Sunday evening at Old Trafford, as they seemingly came for a point against Manchester United.
The Hammers have shown real ability going forward this season, but Moyes rather played with the handbrake on in their latest display.
The plan backfired in the second half, when Craig Dawson scored an own goal.
And Wright felt that West Ham’s players were annoyed that they had played so defensively during the contest.
“I guarantee you after this game, you could feel it, you could see the players walking off,” he said.
“You could tell when the players are not happy with the system that they’re meant to play. You could see it in their body language. You could see it in Michail Antonio, all of sudden he’s playing wide on the right having to stop Luke Shaw. What for?
“He’s having one of those seasons there’s not really a defer in the league who likes playing against him. So why would you take him out of the firing line when he’s playing against Lindelof and Maguire? They can’t stop him once he gets into his flow.”

West Ham’s supporters have also complained that they simply didn’t show enough attacking intent at the weekend.
The Hammers are chasing a top four spot, and a win would have been a major boost.
Moyes did say after the game that he wouldn’t have changed his tactics, even in hindsight.
But West Ham will surely take a more attacking approach at the weekend, when they are set to take on Arsenal.
