Some Rangers fans have responded to Ianis Hagi’s post on Twitter.
Hagi was in action for Rangers on Friday, as the Ibrox club took on Hamilton Academical in a behind-closed-doors friendly match.
The 21-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a forward, will be at Rangers next season after making his loan deal from Genk permanent earlier this summer.
As reported by The Scottish Sun, the Gers paid £3 million in transfer fee to Genk to secure the services of the Romania international on a permanent contract.
The 21-year-old had initially joined the Gers on loan from the Belgian club in the January transfer window until the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
According to WhoScored, the Romanian scored two goals and provided one assist in three Europa League matches and scored one goal in seven Scottish Premiership games for the Gers.
Some Rangers fans have responded positively to Hagi’s tweet, and have urged him to have a good season in 2020-21, as Steven Gerrard’s side aim to stop bitter Old Firm rivals from winning the Scottish Premiership title for the 10th time in a row.
