Earlier today, Liverpool posted a video featuring Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Harvey Elliott and Divock Origi, in association with AXA.
In what turned out to be a hilarious video, the latter ends up losing his cool as he snaps at one of the directors, only to realise he’d been pranked.
What’s the story?
Well, let’s set the scene. Liverpool arranged for Elliott and Origi to take part in a video for AXA, in which they are asked to reenact a car crash.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is in on the joke, as is a ‘competition winner’ who is asked to drive the imaginary car – however, Elliott and Origi believe it’s all real.
After three failed takes, the director – who is also in on the joke – tells the fake competition winner to “get out” in blunt fashion.
He then asks – or instead, orders – Oxlade-Chamberlain to assume the role of driver, which is when Origi snaps.

The £10m man leaps to the defence of his teammate, telling the fake director that he “can’t talk to people like that” – the Belgian also said “we don’t need to do this” as he clearly loses his temper.
In the background, Elliott can be seen looking quite anxious, before Oxlade-Chamberlain reveals it was a prank – you can see the video in full below.
Liverpool have a good guy in Divock Origi
It may have all been a joke, but Origi’s fiery response was a genuine one, as he had no idea he was being pranked at that point.
Therefore, it was admirable to see him defend Oxlade-Chamberlain.
We can learn a lot about Origi from the video. Clearly, he isn’t someone who will shy away from a situation if he disagrees with it, while he’s also someone who will stick up for his mates.

Sadly, it seems someone else will have to defend Oxlade-Chamberlain in future, as the 27-year-old is closing in on a move to AC Milan.
Jürgen Klopp confirmed that Origi would be leaving in a press conference earlier today, in what was a very sad piece of news.
After everything he’s done for the Reds, there is no doubt that Origi will go down in history as a cult hero for Liverpool.
