Tyler Morton has revealed that Thiago Alcantara has absolutely blown him away in Liverpool training.

The 19-year-old has broken into Jurgen Klopp’s senior squad at Liverpool this season.

And it looks like the Spain international has made a massive impact on the midfielder.

Thiago, a £20 million signing by the Reds in 2020, is one of the silkiest players in the German manager’s squad.

And the Kirbky academy prospect was suitably blown away by the former Bayern Munich and Barcelona midfielder.

He told The Independent: “Sometimes I just watch Thiago. You can’t not just admire it; how he plays; the touch of the ball; the disguise he puts on passes. You think ‘that’s where I want to be’. He’s just that good.”

Indeed, Thiago is that good – and fortunately for Liverpool, he’s fit again.

Injuries have disrupted the Spaniard’s 18-month spell on Merseyside in a serious, serious way.

However, the 30-year-old was spotted in Klopp’s training session this afternoon ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup clash with Cardiff City.

Klopp’s side welcome the Welsh outfit to Anfield in the fourth round of the competition and it could be a perfect time for Thiago to get some match fitness.

Let’s face it, with or without Thiago, Liverpool should be alright against the Championship team this weekend and making the first XI could be ideal for Thiago.
