West Ham’s Ben Johson has claimed that Liverpool forward Mo Salah is an ‘incredible’ and ‘faultless’ player, as he told BBC Sport.

The right-back, who starred in West Ham’s 3-2 win against Liverpool over the weekend, claimed that Salah is ‘world-class’.

Salah may have slowed down during these past few games, but he has been running riot since the first ball was kicked in August.

Not many players, if anyone, can claim to be the best in the world right now than the Egyptian superstar.

From his solo goal against Manchester City to his hat-trick at Old Trafford, this is Salah hitting the peak of his powers.

And Johnson made it clear that ‘you can’t deny’ what the Liverpool speedster is producing week in and week out.

“Incredible, faultless,” said Johnson. “He’s scored however many goals this season and he’s mirroring his form from a few seasons ago.

“Playing football and being in a dressing room we don’t really compare players, we just respect what they are doing if they are tearing it up.

“You can’t deny what he’s doing week after week, his consistency is world-class. He’s a fantastic player. Of course, you want to play against him, but at the same time, you want to be wary.

“I want to challenge myself against the best and he’s arguably the best player in the world.”

That’s two Premier League games that Salah hasn’t scored in which, by his standards, is a bit of a blip, that’s how seriously high he has set the bar.

Even then, he is still the top scorer in the Premier League and has still managed to score ten goals in 11 league games, added with his seven assists.

Harry Kane was the Golden Boot winner and the top assist-maker last season, and with the road Salah is going down, he might just follow suit.

At this moment in time, Salah is topping both charts and it’s going to take something special to knock him off both because his runaway train just cannot be stopped.
