Gabby Agbonlahor has told talkSPORT that ‘you can tell’ rumoured Liverpool and Leeds target, Adama Traore, wants to leave Wolves.
The former striker also added that Wolves are going to be in ‘big trouble’ this season.
There were suggestions that Liverpool are hoping to sign the speedster ahead of Leeds for less than £40 million this summer, as reported by 90 Min.
But after Wolves’ opening day defeat to Leicester over the weekend, Agbonlahor suggested that Traore is one of the players who wants out.
“Some of the players, you can tell they want to leave,” said Agbonlahor.
“Adama Traore, he hasn’t sorted out his new contract.
“You can tell he wants to leave. So, I think Wolves are going to be in big trouble this season.”
These rumours about Traore have been going on for more than one transfer window now, so it will be interesting to see if any of the above sides make a move for the forward before the window slams shut.
It would be difficult to see Liverpool put big-money on the table for Traore, especially for a player with such poor quality in the final third.
But under Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds, that seems like the perfect match, especially with their 100 miles per hour style.
There are always twists and turns during the final weeks of the window and Traore might be one to look out for.
