Jason Cundy has told Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal to sign Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech, with rumours floating around that they want to secure the transfer of Kai Havertz.

A number of big-name Chelsea stars are set to depart this summer, in order to free up space and wages, so Mauricio Pochettino can bring in his own new faces.

One of the talked-about names is Kai Havertz, but speaking on talkSPORT to an Arsenal fan, former Chelsea player Cundy told the Gunners ‘you can have Hakim Ziyech‘.

Like many senior stars at Stamford Bridge, the 30-year-old, who signed under Frank Lampard in 2020, wants out after a nightmare campaign, for both the player and the club.

The only ray of sunshine for the left-footed technician this term was Morocco international creating history by reaching the semi-finals of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

Nonetheless, this is what Cundy had to say about Arsenal and Ziyech, amid one fan’s cry for his club to sign a right-sided forward.

“What about Ziyech,” asked Cundy about Arsenal signing the wantaway Chelsea star. “Ziyech is looking for a home. You can have Ziyech. You can have him.”

Ziyech needs to move outside of Premier League

At the World Cup, he showcased his magic and Chelsea fans will be wondering where those types of performances were for them.

But it just hasn’t worked out in the Premier League for the former Ajax man.

Whether he heads back to Holland, goes to Italy, Perhaps France or La Liga, it’s best that he leaves England’s top-flight because the rough nature of it doesn’t seem to help his game.
