Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter to claims that Martin Odegaard could miss Sunday’s clash against Chelsea because of his on-going Visa application.
Sky Sports have reported that Odegaard has completed his medical ahead of a return to Arsenal, but this latest update puts him in doubt to face Chelsea.
Odegaard would need to be registered by midday on Friday if he wants to be part of the squad that faces the European champions at the Emirates.
If not, then he will be making his second debut in Arsenal colours against Manchester City the following week.
This has frustrated the Arsenal fans because they aren’t in a situation where they have depth, quality and consistent performers all over the pitch.
Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed the defeat at Brentford and if they don’t feature again at the weekend then Arteta doesn’t have much to pick from.
That’s why the Arsenal faithful are so eager for this Odegaard deal to get over the line because the whole club needs a lift.
If Arteta falls to another defeat here then the reaction from the home supporters won’t be pleasant.
