Yannick Bolasie has lavished praise on a reported Everton target.
According to a report from TEAMtalk last week, Everton have opened talks with Chelsea to sign a certain Conor Gallagher.
The Stamford Bridge starlet is impressing on loan at Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace.
And on Wednesday night, he fired the Eagles into a 2-1 lead away to Watford in the Premier League.
It has been a pretty rotten season for Everton – albeit things are looking slightly better under Frank Lampard – and adding a talent like Gallagher to the squad this summer could be massive.
Bolasie, a one-time Toffee himself, tweeted about Gallagher’s goal.
Here’s what he posted.
Are Everton signing him?
Well that’s certainly what the talk is about.
However, you also have to wonder why Chelsea would sell him?
The Blues don’t produce a lot of brilliant Premier League players these days and when one comes along – and Gallagher definitely qualifies as ‘brilliant’ – there seems little logic in them offloading him.
Having only just turned 22, Gallagher’s ceiling is massive and although he’d be a stunning signing for Everton, logistically it doesn’t make a massive amount of sense right now.
