Leeds United star Rodrigo has raved about his teammate Joel Robles on his Instagram story after the former Everton goalkeeper stunned him in training.
Rodrigo, who can play as a striker, winger or attacking midfielder, has returned to full training for Leeds after a shoulder injury.
Leeds will take on Aston Villa in the Premier League this weekend.
As you would expect, the Leeds players were training at Thorp Arch, and Robles seems to be doing really well, especially against Rodrigo.
The Spain international has admitted his shock on his Instagram story at how the former Everton goalkeeper simply did not let him score in training.
Robles moved to Leeds on a free transfer in the summer of 2022 after leaving Spanish club Real Betis.
The 32-year-old is the second-choice goalkeeper behind Illan Meslier at Leeds at the moment.
That is not going to change, but if Leeds fans can rest assured that Robles is good enough to play for the first team at short notice.
Rodrigo is one of the best attacking players at Leeds, and the Spaniard being impressed with Robles in training underlines his compatriot’s quality.

Robles wrote on his Instagram story while showing a photo of Rodrigo looking disappointed after failing to score against him: “No in this house @rodrigom_91”
Rodrigo responded in Spanish, which when translated to English reads: “It is impossible to score a goal. You are a beast. Tomorrow is the day.”
