Lucas Moura called Richarlison a ‘beast’ via his Instagram story after he helped Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur secure a dramatic 2-1 win over Sheffield United on Saturday.
It has been a difficult week for Richarlison, who recently admitted that he will seek psychological help for off-field problems after going through a difficult period.
But the Brazil star eased the pressure on his shoulders by coming off the bench yesterday and helping Tottenham change the game in a crazy two minutes in stoppage-time.
After 97 minutes, the points were heading to Yorkshire, but by the time the 100 was up on the board, the home team were celebrating the win.
It was Richarlison’s header, from a corner, that started the two minutes of madness, before his pass found Dejan Kulusevski on the edge of the box and he cooly fired the ball into the back of the net.
That win maintains Spurs’ unbeaten start to the new Premier League season and provides someone like Richarlison with a much-needed boost, with Lucas Moura sending his former teammate the following message via his Instagram story.

That’s the 26-year-old second Premier League goal for Spurs and perhaps this could be the start of the road to recovery from the all-action forward.
No one has ever questioned the work ethic of the player or the passion he showcases on the pitch.
But that bite, ruthless nature and finishing touches have been missing, hence why the criticism towards him has been justified.
But maybe, just maybe, not just that goal, but the manner in which Spurs won, will now spur Richrlison onto bigger and better things.
