Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to celebrate after the club posted some photos of Robin Koch back in action for the Under-23 side.
The 7-cap Germany international made his comeback from a knee injury in yesterday’s 2-1 win over Newcastle’s Under-23 side.
Koch hurt himself in the 4-3 defeat to Liverpool on the opening day, but was able to keep playing until Leeds faced Chelsea on December 5th as the BBC covered.
However, the 24-year-old lasted just nine minutes at Stamford Bridge, and was forced to have surgery on the issue.
Now, he’s on the mend and back playing football as he nears a return to first-team action.

However, he might not be ready just yet, as Leeds only decided to give him 45 minutes of action against the Magpies in order not to push him too far.
In fact, the international break has come at a fantastic time for Koch.
After Friday’s game against Fulham, Leeds don’t play again until they meet Sheffield United on April 3rd.

This should give Koch plenty of time to keep building up his fitness once again, without missing anymore Premier League action for Leeds.
Let’s see how the Elland Road faithful reacted after seeing pictures of the German back in action…
