Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to react after seeing what Jack Grealish had uploaded to Instagram earlier today.

The Villa No.10 uploaded a photo marking the two-year anniversary of his eventful clash with Birmingham in the Midlands derby.

You may recall that a Birmingham fan stormed onto the pitch and punched the England international in the back of the head.

However, after the fan was escorted away, the Villans academy graduate played on and eventually netted the winning goal.

Two years on from that action-packed affair at St Andrews, Grealish posted a hilarious image on Instagram.

You can see the 25-year-old’s funny photo below.

Clearly, Grealish has a great sense of humour, and is able to see the funny side of what happened that day.

Having said that, it could’ve been much, much worse. We’re just glad that the supporter only brought his fists onto the pitch, and didn’t have a weapon which could’ve caused more harm to the playmaker.

You may recall he was also kicked by a steward while celebrating his winning goal – he really was in the wars that day!
