Some Arsenal fans have been reacting to the news that Monaco want to sign Alexandre Lacazette this summer.
The French striker is entering the final year of his contract at the Emirates and his situation has apparently alerted a number of clubs in Europe, with Monaco now emerging as a possible destination for him.
Understandably, this news had a lot of Arsenal fans talking.
Interestingly, Gunners supporters seemed rather happy to see Lacazette linked away from the club. Perhaps that’s an indictment on his recent performances, or perhaps supporters are just happy that they may get a fee for a player who could leave on a free transfer next summer.
Whether or not this move comes to fruition remains to be seen, but Arsenal fans don’t seem as though they’ll be too cut up if Lacazette decides to head back to Ligue 1 at the end of the season.
