West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after the Evening Standard revealed that the Irons will try again in their pursuit of Youssef En-Nesyri.
The Evening Standard‘s article was actually centered around the fact that West Ham have received a boost in their hunt for Eddie Nketiah.
Interestingly, the Gunners striker could now be available after Arsenal convinced Folarin Balogun to sign a contract at the Emirates Stadium.
The Evening Standard claim that the Hammers have been tracking Nketiah since January.
They were open to signing him at the time, but Arsenal refused to negotiate.
However, it seems that the West Ham fans on Twitter don’t really care about the club’s pursuit of Nketiah.

One fan even described the club’s interest in him as ‘nonsense’.
It seems that the London Stadium faithful have their hearts set on En-Nesyri.
According to The Athletic, a £22.5 million bid, plus £4.5 million in add-ons, was submitted to Sevilla for the Moroccan’s services in January.

That was rejected at the time, but you can see why David Moyes is still interested in the 23-year-old.
En-Nesyri has scored 21 goals in 44 games this season, form which has clearly attracted admiring glances from the Premier League.
Let’s see how the West Ham fans reacted to the Evening Standard‘s news…
