Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club announced that Mile Jedinak would be returning to Villa Park.

The Midlands-based outfit have confirmed that the Aussie will now act as the club’s Loan Player Development Coach in what is exciting news.

Adam Henshall has also been appointed as Villa’s Head of Emerging Talents and Loans.

However, as you might expect, most of the focus has been on Jedinak.

The 36-year-old made 80 appearances for Villa, and became a real fan favourite following his move from Selhurst Park.

The former Crystal Palace colossus kicked his last ball for the Villans when dispatching his Play-Off semi-final penalty against West Brom of all teams.

It was a romantic way to end his playing career at Villa Park, and he’s now back to help Dean Smith in another capacity.

Jedinak has plenty of talent to observe in his new role.
