Tottenham Hotspur fans are excited over the latest update which has named them as a potential suitor for Dominik Szoboszlai.
Tottenham have been tentatively linked with Szoboszlai in recent weeks, and BILD have now named Jose Mourinho’s side as one of the clubs in for the Hungarian.
They say that Szoboszlai has told Red Bull Salzburg that he wants to leave in January, with Tottenham keen to snap him up.
And Spurs fans are very excited by the development, as they would love to see the 20-year-old in North London.
Whether Tottenham could win the race for Szoboszlai still remains to be seen, though.
Spurs are set to face a huge amount of competition for the Hungarian, and may not have as much financial muscle as some of the teams in the race for his signature.
Spurs spent big over the summer, which means it is unlikely that Mourinho will have a huge budget to spend in the new year.
Szoboszlai does have a £23 million release clause, but his wages are likely to be high, with so many teams chasing him.
And, even though many Tottenham fans are desperate to see him join, getting his signature could still be a tough ask.
