Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after hearing what Jürgen Klopp said before last night’s 2-0 win over RB Leipzig kicked off.
After news broke that Joachim Löw was to step down from the Germany job, some speculated that Klopp could succeed him.
When asked about his future before kick-off, the Reds boss told BT Sport: “In my understanding, I will be here for the next three years.”
Now, this news has gone down brilliantly with the Liverpool fans on Twitter, and it’s no surprise.
Klopp has steered Liverpool to great success in recent years, winning the Premier League, Champions League, UEFA Super Club and FIFA Club World Cup.
However, Liverpool’s recent poor form has evoked memories of Borussia Dortmund’s slump after huge success under Klopp.

The German left the Bundesliga outfit in 2015 with the club languishing near the bottom of the league, despite steering them to two titles and one DFB-Pokal in years before.
As the BBC covered, Klopp said he would always leave when he felt he was no longer the best man for the job.

In this respect, it’s a relief to hear him say he plans to stay at Anfield for a few more years yet – it feels like he has unfinished business on Merseyside.
Let’s see how the Liverpool fans reacted to his comments…
