Thomas Muller has expressed his delight on his Instagram story that rumoured Arsenal and Liverpool target, Serge Gnabry, ‘stays with us’ at Bayern Munich.
The Germany International had one-year left to run on his current Bayern contract, with the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal being mentioned as possible transfer destinations for the player.
Given that Gnabry has one-year left, it just increased the talk of him possibly returning to Arsenal, joining Liverpool or heading elsewhere.
But the 27-year-old has instead extended his stay at the German champions until 2026, which has delighted his teammates.
Muller posted on his IG story ‘Yes, Sergino stays with us in Munich’, whilst goalkeeper Manuel Neuer reacted on his Instagram story by just saying ‘on and on and on’.

WAS GNABRY PLAYING PREMIER LEAGUE CLUBS?
It would have been interesting to see Gnabry return to English shores, after his first stint didn’t go as planned.
He was pretty young back then and his exit from Arsenal did him the world of good because he turned into an explosive machine for Bayern down the line.
But whilst this interest from the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal seemed genuine, was Gnabry really keen on moving?
With talks stalling over his contract, the player and his agent could have easily used that Premier League interest to try and get what they wanted whilst in contract negotiations with his club.
Either way, if Gnabry returns to the Premier League, well, it won’t be anytime soon because he is set to spend the peak years of his career in Germany.
