Dion Dublin said on Sky Sports News (1:42pm, January 16, 2021) that he agrees with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s comments about Liverpool.

Liverpool will take on Manchester United at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

As quoted in This is Anfield, United manager Solskjaer has said that Jurgen Klopp’s side are favourites, and that “it would be an upset” if the Red Devils won against the Reds.

Former United striker player Dublin, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, believes that Solskjaer is right.

Dublin said on Sky Sports News (1:42pm, January 16, 2021): “Yes, it would be, it would be. They expect to win at home, Liverpool. They are that good, and it goes back years and years and years.”

Are Liverpool favourites against Manchester United?

United are three points clear of second-placed and defending champions Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table at the moment.

The Red Devils will head into the game against Anfield without any pressure, as a loss will only see the Reds go level on points with them.

Liverpool will head into the game as favourites. The Reds have arguably a better squad and also have a very strong home record.

As reported by The Liverpool Echo, the Reds last lost a home game in the Premier League against Crystal Palace in April 2017.
