Kalvin Phillips and Ross Barkley have sent their best wishes to Dele Alli after his move to Everton, as the Leeds and Chelsea duo posted on his Instagram.
On Wednesday, Alli posted messages on his Instagram about how ‘delighted’ he is to get going at Everton after his unveiling.
Chelsea midfielder Barkley wrote the following message to Alli in the comments section: “Good luck brother.”
Whilst Phillips added: “Yes Del. Congrats bro.”
This is a much-needed move for Alli and one where he is hoping he can shine brightly once more.
Whilst he may now be in Chelsea colours, Barkley understands what it is like playing in front of the Goodison Park crowd and how they can get the best out of you.
Prior to Frank Lampard’s appointment this week, there has been a pretty dark cloud hovering over Merseyside and it was no surprise when you have an ex-Liverpool man as your manager.
But that is now set to change with Lampard bringing in, not only Alli, but also Donny van de Beek into the fold.
That could be a pretty tasty attacking mixture for Everton fans to watch, especially given that they marry well with the hard-hitting duo, Allan and Abdoulaye Doucouré.
For Lampard, it’s just a case of how he gets the best out of them all and whether or not they can play in the same midfield.
One thing Lampard will get out of the duo are two players who are just ready to burst into life because they have so much to prove.
