Rodney Marsh has given his take on Twitter on Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford having a goal ruled out against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

The former Fulham and Queens Park Rangers forward has made a rather amusing comment regarding the controversial incident.

In the 16th minute of the Premier League game at Selhurst Park, Bamford thought that he had scored for Leeds when he turned in a pass from Mateusz Klich.

However, the English striker’s goal was ruled out because of offside. The decision was debatable, to say the least.

It appeared to be a very harsh decision as Bamford’s arm was in an offside position, and Marsh, who was following the match, has a rather amusing take on it, as shown below.

Moving on

Had Bamford’s goal stood, then it would seen Leeds equalise and make it 1-1, and perhaps the Whites would have gone on and won the Premier League game.

As it turned out, Palace won 4-1, meaning that Leeds have now lost two Premier League games in a row by the same scoreline.

The Whites played well and pushed Palace hard despite the scoreline, and they will hope to fare better after the two-week international break.
