According to The Mirror, Wolves are interested in signing Oxlade-Chamberlain from Premier League rivals Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The same publication has stated in another report that the Premier League club do not want to sell the 27-year-old former Arsenal midfielder, and that the player himself is very happy at the Reds.
The 27-year-old is a very good midfielder who has done well when he has played for Liverpool, but he has had injury problems, and there is also a fierce competition for places in midfield, especially with the recent signing of Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich.
According to WhoScored, the 27-year-old made 17 starts in the Premier League and three starts in the Champions League last season, while in 2018-19, he played just 19 minutes in the league.
Wolves are a big and ambitious club who are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.
Given Oxlade-Chamberlain’s quality and experience, he would make Nuno’s side better if he stays fit.
