Marco Silva is set to have plenty of options to choose from in the heart of Everton’s defence.

Mina has been out of action since March, after the Everton centre-back picked up an injury on international duty.
But the powerful centre-back is now edging closer to making his return, which should boost Silva’s options in defence even further.
“Mina starts [training] with the team,” he said.
Everton’s game against Crystal Palace this weekend is likely to come too soon for Mina.

And the Toffees may also be forced to deal without Richarlison, although Lucas Digne should be available.
“Lucas Digne is okay. Richarlison we have big doubts if he is able to play,” Silva added.
“Yesterday he tried to work with us. He felt different. Let’s see how he will react tomorrow.
“He will be a major doubt for us.”
Everton won their last 4-0 against Manchester United, so Silva is likely to want to make as few changes as possible as he takes his side to Selhurst Park.
If Everton can get a victory in London then they could move up to seventh place in the Premier League, as they look to claim a Europa League spot.
