Everton paired up Yerry Mina with Michael Keane for the first time at Chelsea.

Everton defender Yerry Mina has told the club’s official website that he thinks teammate Michael Keane is a ‘great player’ and deserves his recall to the England squad.
Keane was a big-money signing for Everton in 2017, having starred in the heart of the Burnley defence, earning himself England call-ups in the process.
However, the 25-year-old was heavily criticised last season as he struggled to make an impression at Goodison Park, leading to Everton signing two new centre backs in August.
Mina and Kurt Zouma arrived to bolster Marco Silva’s defensive options, and many expected Keane to struggle for playing time this season.
Keane has hit back though, turning in some superb performances to nail down a place in the Everton side and even earn a recall to the England squad for their recent games against the United States and Croatia.
Keane looks far more confident and settled than he did last season, and it now appears to be a dilemma for Silva over who partners him; Mina or Zouma.

Now, Mina has commented on the Everton ace, stating that he thinks Keane is doing a ‘great player and person’, adding that what he is doing in the Everton team this season is ‘fantastic’ after keeping a clean sheet together at Chelsea last time out.
“Michael is a great player and great person,” said Mina. “What he is doing is fantastic and he deserved his England call-up with the way he is playing,” he added.
