Barcelona central defender Yerry Mina has told Marca that he wants to play for a team next season where he will get minutes amid reported interest from West Ham United, Everton and Leicester City.

According to Sport, Premier League trio West Ham, Leicester and Everton all have made offers for Barcelona centre-back Mina.

The 23-year-old Colombia international, who played for his country at the 2018 World Cup in Russia this summer, has commented on his future amid speculation linking him with moves to the Hammers, the Foxes and the Toffees.

The former Palmeiras central defender has said that he is calm about his future, and has stated that he wants to turn out for a team next season where he will get playing time.

Mina told Marca: “I want to make the best decision, but being calm is the most important thing.

“I want the best for my life and I have fulfilled a dream arriving at Barcelona, but this year I had some very difficult moments. I want a team where I’m calm and can receive minutes.”

Struggles at Barcelona

Mina moved to Barcelona from Palmeiras in the January transfer window for a fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £10.5 million.

The Colombia international centre-back did not have a great time at Camp Nou, as he was able to make only four starts and just one substitute appearance for Barcelona, according to Whoscored.
